n the reference 1st read above the District Collector, Hyderabad has submitted that Smt. K.Harini W/o late K. Hanumantha Reddy Sub-Inspector of Police has represented to the Government that her husband was killed by Naxalites on 25.02.2001 and she left with two small daughters aged 4 & 3 years. She has requested to allot a House site in TS No.2 Block-A ward-9 of Shaikpet Village as was given in precedent cases to the officers who were killed by the extremists. The Tahsildar Shaikpet has identified Govt. land to an extent of 300 Sq. Yds in TS No.2 Block-A Ward No.9 Sy.No.403 of Shaikpet Village for allotment which is free from encroachment and litigation for allotment in favour of Smt. K. Harini. The present basic value of the land is question is Rs.40,000/- per Sq. Yd and the prevailing market value is about Rs.75,000/- per Sq. Yard. The applicant was asked to offer her choice for allotment in her native place or native place of her husband. She has requested that she was appointed as Junior Assistant in the Officer of the Director General of Police, A.P. Hyderabad and her children are studying at Begumpet, Hyderabad and she has permanently shifted her residence to Hyderabad. Hence she has requested to allot house site at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. 2. The District Collector, Hyderabad has further submitted that the Government have issued orders vide G.O.Ms.No.155, General Administration (SC.C) Department dated.11.4.1997 for allotment of 300 Sq.Yds in favour of Non-Gazetted Officers who are killed by Naxalites/Anti-social elements and requested the Government to consider the request of Smt. K. Harini whose spouse Sri K.Hanumantha Reddy Sub- Inspector of Police killed by Naxalites for allotment of House site in TS.No.2, Block-A Ward-9 correlated to Sy.No.403 of Shaikpet Village to an extent of 300 Sq. Yards. 3. In the reference 2nd read above, the Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad has proposed for consideration of the allotment of land to an extent of 300 Square Yards in TS No.2, Block-A, Ward No.9 correlated to Sy.No.403 of Shaikpet Village and Mandal, Hyderabad District which is free from litigation and not allotted to any body in favour of Smt. K. Harini W/o late K. Hanumantha Reddy SI of Police (whose spouse was shot dead by Naxalites). 4. In the reference 3rd read above, the Director General of Police has informed that Smt. K. Harini is eligible for a house site admeasuring 300 Square Yards which has not been allotted to her so far and therefore, requested to allot the house site in TS.No.2, Block-A, Ward No.9 correlated to Sy.No.403 of Shaikpet Village and Mandal, Hyderabad since Smt. Harini has settled down in Hyderabad City with her children. 5. In the circumstances stated by Special Chief Secretary & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad and the District Collector, Hyderabad Government have examined the matter, and after careful consideration, hereby order for allotment of Government land admeasuring 300 Square Yards in TS No.2, Block-A, Ward No.9 correlated to Sy.No.403 of Shaikpet Village and Mandal, Hyderabad District on free of cost instead of on payment of market value in favour of Smt. K. Harini W/o late K. Hanumantha Reddy, Sub-Inspector of Police (who has been appointed as Junior Assistant and presently working in the DGP Office, Hyderabad) and as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.155, GA (SC.C) Department, dated.11.4.1997 subject to the following usual conditions. (i) (ii) The land allotted should not be alienated by way of gift etc., or sold without prior permission of the Government; Construction should be completed within (2) years from the date of allotment; 6. The Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P. Hyderabad / the District Collector, Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly.
