The Government direct that the maximum extent of land that may be assigned in the Scheduled Areas of the State to members of the Scheduled Tribes residing in those areas should be fixed at five acres of wet land or ten acres of dry land in each case. 2. The Government further direct that all cases in which land in excess of the above limits should happen to be under the occupation of members of the Scheduled Tribes in the Scheduled Areas should be reported to the Government and that pending further orders the occupants concerned should not be dispossessed of the land held by them in excess of the above limits.
